When the first laptop came out in the early years of 1980, it was so heavy (weighed 9pounds to be exact) and bulky. And not only that, the OS, Wi-Fi capabilities and other parts and even the RAM are very different compared to what we have nowadays.
The term laptop refers to some kinds of small and portable computers. Referring to today's laptops, what we usually look for aside from its shape, brand, size and memory is the built in webcam. It would be a very advantage if a webcam is already in there right?
There are tons of reasons why we opt for laptop with webcam; some other maybe for our works but usually it is just for our own fulfillment. The very first reason of course is the practical one - to take picture/pictures of ourselves, save it and then upload it to Facebook and other social networking sites.
Next, to be able to see our loved ones who are working in other countries while chatting with them through skype and others. Through the laptop's webcam, we can see if our gf/bf is getting fat, thin or stays just the same. You would no longer miss them since through the webcam's help talking to them is like just you are talking to a person next door.
Third, is to be relieved from an additional cost of purchasing a webcam and the difficulty of looking for a compatible webcam and webcam driver for your laptop.
Fourthly, it would be a shame if while you are in a hotspot area, you'd pull out your laptop and then pull out also the big-circled shaped webcam then place it upfront. Isn't it a minus points for you ladies out there? Wouldn't it be "sossy" as what they say if the webcam is already built-in? Well a very big yes, right typical ladies? This may sound ridiculous for you guys, but ladies are always ladies with needs that most boys don't understand.
Then last but not the least, is for work. There are some other employers who keeps tract of their employees activity through their laptops' webcam. Sometimes, the laptop's webcam are used by others as a security camera.
Whatever reason you have why you'd go for a laptop with webcam; just don't forget to think twice before purchasing anything so that in the long run, you won't have any regrets.
